A homemade Reese’s cup but in a heart form and healthier, ya gotta try these! The perfect homemade chocolate for your loved ones.

Ingredients you’ll need:
- 1 cup natural creamy peanut butter (100% roasted nuts, no added junk!)
- Justin’s, Whole Foods 365 and Trader Joe’s are favorites for good peanut butter
- 1 ½ cups almond flour
- 6 tbsp 100% pure maple syrup
- 1½ to 2 cups melted dark chocolate
- 2 tsp avocado oil or coconut oil
- flaky sea salt (optional, for on top)
- I love Maldon flaky sea salt, I use it everyday.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Hearts (Like Reese’s But Homemade & Better)
Ingredients
- 1 cup natural creamy peanut butter (100% roasted nuts, no added junk!) I like Justin's, Trader Joe's and Whole Foods 365 brands
- 1 ½ cups almond flour
- 6 tablespoon pure maple syrup
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1½ to 2 cups melted dark chocolate Guittard, Hu, Trader Joe's are my favorite dark chocolate chip brands
- 2 teaspoons avocado oil or coconut oil
- flaky sea salt optional, for on top
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together peanut butter, flour, and maple syrup.
- Form into a ball and place onto counter top or work surface. Roll flat with a rolling pin until 1/3 inch or so thick.
- Use a heart shaped cookie cutter to cut out hearts. Place hearts on parchment paper lined tray or plate. Freeze for 30 minutes.
- Melt chocolate and oil with double boiler method.*
- Dip each heart in melted chocolate until completely coated. Place hearts back onto parchment lined tray. Add flaky salt or any other toppings of your choice right after dipping (caramel, pretzels, nuts, sprinkles). If you want the drizzle look, freeze coated hearts for a few minutes until chocolate sets, then drizzle more chocolate on top with a spoon.
- Place in the freezer for at least another 30 minutes.
- Store in the fridge or freezer. Enjoy!
